It's a Jeans Party!
With Special Guest Pati Palmer!
Join us for a special presentation, trunk show, and meet & greet with author and Palmer/Pletsch Certified Sewing Instructor Helen Bartley! In this special event, Helen will give a presentation discussing some of the finer points from her book "Fit and Sew Custom Jeans". She'll go over how to choose the best jeans pattern size using the "wrap test", show you why coverstitch machines are the secret to making belt loops, and so much more.
For your dose of inspiration, she'll present a trunk show filled with classic jeans as well as creative jean adaptations from her personal wardrobe. Plus, she'll be around before and after the presentation to sign copies of her book and answer your sewing related questions.
And as an added bonus, Pati Palmer will be joining her! Author, publisher, pattern designer, and founder of the Palmer/Pletsch International School of Sewing, Pati is a local legend in the sewing world. "Pati is to home seamstresses what Julia Child is to home cooks." Join us for this special opportunity to meet not one, but two local sewing experts, gain some insight and inspiration, and get your books signed! Refreshments will be provided.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
